The AZ-5000-WS5 is just one of Aztech’s centrally managed AP controllers specifically designed for implementation in small-to-medium enterprises. The AZ-5000-WS5 Access Point Controller allows you to easily manage all of your access points in a single location, greatly taking advantage of constant time availability, easy management, minimal staff count, and lastly, the duration of the deployment of all the access points you would be using in your network as well.

The AZ-5000-WS5 series supports up to 64 access points and 1,024 users. In addition to supporting up to 64 APs, the AZ-5000-WS5 can support up to 256 Access Points APs, ensuring constant network flexibility specifically designed for rapidly expanding network needs.

The AZ-5000-WS5 also provides various features such as reliable authentication methods and data encryption, user policies that depend on your need, bandwidth control or limiting, and even other wireless protection capabilities. Delivering superior performance and ensured flexibility, the AZ-5000-WS5 requires a low cost of implementation yet ensuring amazing flexibility as your network need continually expands and scales.


 

Centralized Forwarding Architecture

Aztech AP Controller series’ centralized forwarding architecture provide following benefits:

  • All AP management and client data traffic are sent to the AC through the secure CAPWAP tunnel. Then AC forwards the wireless data traffic to the outbound network and vice versa.
  • Unified, secure wireless traffic management. 

 


Auto RF Provisioning

Auto Channel Selection 

  • Automatically select proper channel and assign to managed APs 
  • Readjust channels by schedule (ex. at certain time, upon a certain interval)
  • When inserting new AP, the AP scans the RF area for occupied channels and selects a channel from the available non-interfering, or clear channels. 

Auto Transmit Power Adjustment

  • Automatically adjust the power according to the strength changes of RF signals broadcasting by other APs
